« And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost!”

It is Pentecost time (Pentecost means fifty in Greek) and celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples, as Jesus had told them during the last supper just the day before his crucifixion.

The Old Testament and the New Testament are indivisible; the Christian Pentecost comes from   SHAVOUOT, the feast of the grain harvest, or the feast of the weeks among the Hebrews.

It commemorates the memory of the gift of the Torah and of the 10 commandments to the israelites when they arrived to Mount Sinai, seven weeks (50 days) after leaving Egypt where they were slaves.

Under the New Covenant, the gift of the law often violated by God’s people becomes the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Indeed   the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift, a present (grace under the new covenant), and you can’t receive it by your own performance and your own efforts (the law given on Mount Sinaï).

Jesus latest words to his disciples before going back to His father were very specific regarding the Holy Spirit. (ACTS 1:4-5, 8-9).

In ACTS, chapter 2, God enables those who are gathered in the upper room to receive the Holy Spirit, and tongues of fire rest on each of them, they begin to speak in other tongues, God gives them the wonders of His Word through the Holy Spirit

Jesus had promised to his disciples that the Holy Spirit who was with them would live inside of them one day and this is what happened on the day of Pentecost!

And those men who were frightful and coward sometimes were transformed instantanely into powerful witnesses full of fire and boldness. Over 3000 people were baptized on that day (Acts 2:42).

A lot of Christians love Jesus with all their heart but they serve Him with their own strengh because they have not been baptized in His Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit in the one who reveals God’s will to us and the wonders of His Word (the letter kills but the Spirit gives life). He is the Comforter who leads us in all the truth, He helps us to experiment a victorious Christian life too.

Jesus was baptized in the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3), and the first apostles too (ACTS 2: 1-4)  and if we want to live a christian life full of power, we need to receive the Holy Spirit too!

Without the baptism in the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to live a rich and fruitful Christian life.

God desires hardely that you could be filled with His Spirit, and He is waiting for you to open your heart and to invite Him in. Would you like to invite the Holy Spirit into your life?

May this Pentecost 2011 be for you the same wonderful encounter with love and peace as the disciples had 2000 years ago. Jésus himself commanded;

Receive the Holy Spirit (JOHN 20:22)

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

(ACTS 2: 1-4)

THE JOY OF THE GOOD NEWS !!

The world is assailed daily of bad news, we have just to listen to information: earthquakes, Tsunamis, wars, diseases, violence and extreme poverty …….

Despair is so easily here, and it is often so difficult to get out of it!

Yet, each man, each woman can whatever its situation, find again the joy, hope, life, when they turn their eyes to the Lord.

Because God so loved the world that he gave his only son, for our redemption, for our freedom!

The good news is near us, easy to access, limpid and clear as the stream.

This good news delivers us instantly as soon as we give our hearts to Jesus

Everything was already announced in Isaiah 40.9:

O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift [it] up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!  (KJV – king James Version)

And we know today that it is necessary to announce it (Matthew 24.14)

Jesus is the good news, he came to deliver us from all evil, his father sent him to show to the men that he never abandoned them, by a simple act of faith, by pronouncing these words: "Yes Jesus comes into my life.", "Father, thank you to have sent your son for us," nothing is never be the same, your life has changed forever!

Yes we have the good news so close to us

Yes we can claim it as our (Mark 1.15)

Yes the good news is also to the Gentiles: And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, [saying], In thee shall all nations be blessed. (Galatians 3.8) KJV

Yes, Yes and Yes, the good news saves us every day!

We not weary to proclaim it as Jesus taught us to do: Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16.15) KJV

My friends, events can show us all that is negative, but be aware that you have a treasure that nobody can steal: the good news! Because when it is in the firmament of your heart, it then illuminates your life forever.

Pray for the Nations, pray for Israel and the peace in Jerusalem, pray for the Ivory Coast, the Arabic world is changing, the hearts are open.

Pray for those who suffer, and if you also you need support, feel free to send us your queries, we will associate with you in prayer.

FEBRUARY 2011

A wind of freedom !

“But, the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord, there is is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3: 17)

In Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, a true breath of freedom extends on the Middle-East, million of men and women raised themselves to stop corrupted and immoral government, leaders treating by terror, repression, humiliation, their people. And even if some are still upright, they are for how long more?

Is it necessary to be afraid or do we must see a sign of the Eternal to open the hearts and to save souls! To bring back to him the nations absorbed and lost under the weight of leaders taking themselves for true Gods!!!

Let us pray for these nations which want the change, more justice, freedom, love (Psalm 12.6).

Let us redouble in the prayer for Jerusalem and Israel, alone in the middle of all!

Israel which shows the example of a democracy, whereas so many medias and political of the whole world makes it responsible of the all the evils of the planet.

Israel is today the light which illuminate the Middle East, the chosen people of the Eternal is there, upright, in the middle of this popular revolt legitimate, like a flag of freedom floating on an area, true bomb with delayed-action.

Let us pray that the God of Peace and of Love blows his Word on this formidable wind of freedom and touch these nations!

Jesus came to save each of us and he made us free.

As the apostle Paul says: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3.28 - Colossians 3.11)

A wind of freedom blows! The Wind of the Spirit of God, God who comes to prepare and to look for his children.

The wind blows (breathes) where it wills; and though you hear its sound, yet you neither know where it comes from nor where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit (John3.8)

JANUARY 2011

Go ahead! (Jeremiah 1.1-10)

In the book of the prophet Jeremiah, the Eternal speaks to his servant and ask him to be a valiant man, having and taking authority.

However Jeremiah doubts, he want an order coming directly from the Very High for he enters into the plan that God has for him.

As Jeremiah we are often in this attitude, what is our place, for what are we used, what we must do to be pleasant to God?

We are in the hesitation, the interior commotion.

All impossibilities to say, to make, to pray, to praise, to share, accumulate.

The thousand sheets of the negative points become thicker, how we will be devoured! This is the work of the enemy.

The prophet Jeremiah was shake by all of that, he was waiting for a word, a direction and the Eternal spoke to him, to him Jeremiah which said “I cannot speak”

But the Eternal loved Jeremiah beyond the look that he had on himself.

In one moment, the Eternal gave to Jeremiah all he needed, his Word, the confidence, the power, the authority, a real battle plan for his life.

Jeremiah became another man, a man that God had invested of a mission.

Go ahead, the Eternal loves those which dare for him, the Eternal loves those which speak to him and asks him to help them, the Eternal still gives and still without counting!

Ask him and he will answer.

As Jeremiah, he will reveal you the plan of love which he has for your life!

Go ahead and meditate these verses of Jeremiah 1. 1-10, the Eternal knows you since always and he knows that what you need.

Dare to believe in His promises!

BIBLICA TV grows week after week, and we can take again for us the words of the Eternal given to Jeremiah.

The connected countries multiply the Net surfers too! Thanks to all of you which look at this television born from the faith in the word of the Eternal.

DECEMBER 2010

Soon the festivals where we will celebrate the coming of our “EMMANUEL” our Messiah.

As the prophet ISAIAH says in the Old Testament, this EMMAMUEL will be the redeemer which comes to deliver all those which have faith in their GOD.

Christmas is the date where we must turn to this star of the sky which announced to the shepherds and to the Kings Magi the arrival of the Savior. In these very disturbed times where we have the feeling that all events accelerate at an unrestrained speed, let us raise our looks towards the one which was born more than 2000 years in Bethlehem in a cowshed, and which is, for us believers, in these holidays periods, the  most beautiful gifts: JESUS the MESSIAH, YESHUA HA MASSHIA, the liberator, the one which brought the Good news to us, the one which comfort, the one which restores, the one which heals, the one  which loves us.

In these holiday periods, let us think and pray for all of those that we love, for those also who need support, healing, comfort or simply  Love, and ask our “EMMANUEL” to come in their life to place his light there.

Biblica TV was born 40 days ago, already 64 countries were connected, thousands of visitors have joining us. We thank the Lord for this blessing.

Good festivals to all of you

We announce you peace, the peace of Jesus:
